Key Accomplishments
- Master-planned, marketed and created design and development criteria.
- Entitled 706 acres for commercial and residential use as a Development of Regional Impact through the Corp of Engineers, South Florida Water Management District, Southwest Florida Regional Planning Council and the City of Fort Myers, Fla.
- Negotiated multiple resolutions and a substantial deviation to the development order, a $36 million development agreement and on- and off-site environmental mitigation and permits.
- Avoided condemnation by the Florida Department of Transportation of prime usable acres by accommodating State drainage needs through the property's existing system. Resulted in over $2 million in proceeds for a Joint Use agreement.
- Created 493 net sellable acres and sold 365 acres in tracts over 9 years for $54.7 million with an additional $7.3 million in impact fee payments. Total of $62 million in gross proceeds.
